1 Day Workshop

This one day workshop covers the statutory framework and arrangements for the  UK Carbon Reduction Commitment Energy Efficiency Scheme and identifies how allowances are created, allocated and traded.

The workshop will highlight how to collate emissions data for submission under the scheme and how this can be used to develop strategic plans that consider the advantages and disadvantages of green investment and allowance trading.

Interactive exercises allow delegates to fully understand the scheme within a business context. Delegates will be able to identify business opportunity within the carbon market and how they can use this to formulate oranisational policy and direction to reflect carbon opportunity.

An overview of carbon offsetting will provide an indication of how business can achieve carbon neutrality beyond measures aimed at reducing consumption and use of alternative technology.
